Yep, too bad. Smart pickup for the Sox too, if his stuff bounces back to how he reportedly looked before the injury.

I take this as a positive sign for the offseason ahead if you think/hope they will be extremely active. Turner has some talent, is young, and is at a position of need, yet the Cubs felt OK with leaving him exposed. While it's not quite as big and loud a sign as say trading Hammel, it's enough of a tease for me considering the World Series only just started.

 

unfortunately he's our tallest pitcher
