I think it's kind of annoying when people come into game threads and show off how little they care about games, but I'm going to kind of do that here, so excuse me. But I'm kind of surprised how amped up Cubs fandom is over this series. I mean, sure, winning is cool and home field would be cool, but we're in, man. As ridiculous as the PNC dimensions are, playing for what stadium will be hosting the wild card game isn't enough to get me nervous, or enough for me to care much if we lose this.

This is going to be the most annoying loss of the season

not even remotely [expletive] close

not even a little bit remotely [expletive] close

As far as most annoying losses of the season goes, that has to be the Peralta HR game.

As far as tiny annoying [expletive] building up over the course of the entire game, I would say this is up there.

still not close

hell, off the top of my head, the goldschmidt game was insanely annoying BEFORE we gave up a 2 out 2 run walkoff HR with a one run lead

Uhhh I think you mean the Nick Ahmed game

If the Cubs end up hosting a playoff game, tell us how tense the crowd was.

Who the [expletive] is Berry? I feel like I keep up with things. Guess not.

He was the Tigers' version of Dave Roberts for a few years.
