Not enough variance in the choices; the trade deadline is looking more and more like it was too critical a missed opportunity.

Looking less and less like that to me. Looked more like one when we were 40% for the playoffs.

right, our postseason odds are like 5/6 likelihood right now and we already have a 3- or 4-man playoff rotation rivaling anybody's, not to mention two strong options to start the inevitable stupid coin-flip game...the bullpen is fine, the hitting doesn't have any obvious holes screaming for an upgrade

total lunacy

You're on Kyle's side, Mojo....how does it feel?

and check the previous results... 100% of 47 votes a year ago...pretty good chance kyle is one of those 47 and thus pretty good chance he turned his answer to no when they're 16 games over .500 in august and on pace for 93 wins or whatever lol

Everything IS awesome, but working the trade deadline is a big part of their job; it's not like they have to worry about the team being too good. Right now I'm wishing they had gotten the actual Ben Zobrist instead of trying make up a brokeass Ben Zobrist. Overall I'm very happy with the team, but I wish they had gone more all in. Oh well.

At what cost though? It sounds like they were trying to get something done with SD, but the Pads decided to be crazy and stand pat. I was all for them making moves, but not at any cost.

I realize I'm the exception in that I don't give a [expletive] about the farm, so I really don't care what the cost would have been. All of the truly awesome prospects are up, so the rest might as well be meat. If the poll was more of a sliding scale I would be at "very satisfied;" Kyle's a goober bitching about the previous years right now. I just wish they weren't so stingy with trading their prospects now that the team is on a roll and Coghlan's looked like [expletive] for a while. Such is hindsight.

Isn't very satisfied much closer to Yes than No though?

I wanted them to do more at the trade deadline, I especially wish they had now that they're on the run they are and I think that's a critical part of their job during the season. I want them to live up to their talk of going for it when they're competitive, and settling for for what they ended up with with a team that's showing how [expletive] awesome it can be is very disappointing to me. I don't want them fired or anything ridiculous, but it's enough of a sticking point that I voted no.

I just checked, I didn't vote in that one, assuming it would still show the little x on my name.

But I was in the thread arguing for "no," so who knows.

Just got to the last page of the thread:

I'm changing my vote to yes because Javy is coming to fix everything.
