Have their been any reports on how Soriano looks? 0.00 ERA, but his SSS doesn't look particularly impressive: 5 IP 3/4 BB/K 1.20 WHiP.

Read he was consistently hitting 94 the last couple times out. I think that's about where he was last year.

I was at the Pelican's game last night. I threw out one of many first pitches. Got to meet Tseng and his interpreter who were charting pitches behind us right behind home plate. He signed a ball for me that I caught during BP. Blackburn looked good in his 3 innings, assume he was on a pitch count since he was freshly off the DL. Velocity was down, fastball sat mostly 91 but can probably attribute this to the DL stint. He broke off a few nice curves but mostly threw fastballs and some sliders? Hard to identify pitches from behind home plate where were sitting we were blocked by the ump, catcher and hitter. Infield defense played very well and turned 2 double plays behind Blackburn. I got to join Nathan Barret in the broadcast booth for an inning and sing take me out to the ballgame during the stretch. The owner also gave me a tour of the clubhouse during the game where there were a few players watching Bryant in the first round of the HR derby it was a cool experience to watch that with some of the players in there. Overall it was a great night and something I'll definantly never forget. If you ever get a chance to take in a pelican's game deffinintly do, and try the chicken bog balls they are delicious! If you want to see pics from our trip on Twitter just use the hash tag #9inningsofwinning you should see them there.

Oh yeah it's been a blast something I'll never forget and Monday nights game was the best of it. We have had an absolute blast on this vacation, something we never would have been able to afford otherwise.
