With two outs, the smart play is almost always to send the guy.

 

That one was bad. With Lind running and not even at 3rd when Coghlan had the ball. Coghlan has some issues in the field, but he's got a fine arm.

Maldonado is hitting .164

 

There's at least that much of a chance of the throw being offline or something else going wrong.
