The Pujols one just confused me because he was 2.9 last year, but I guess his April was pretty sick.

Well, the Angels looked like a lock for the playoffs at the time, so they were 1 up on us, and I'd still give them the advantage this year. A 2 year lead on playoffs is a pretty big deal. As is the knowledge that a team will spend rather than an assumption which looked a lot more faulty to me last year.

that's a convenient assumption, but FG favors us (53% - 44%) and BP has the two teams as equals (56%)

 

fwiw, right now BP has us at 61.96% to make the playoffs
