This is the smallest of quibbles ... but I'm not sure how much I really care for Frank Batista starting. Are there any reports of him showing any better stuff than year's past (out of the pen, he was roughly 89-93 on the fastball, with an above average slider, IIRC). I mean, Francescon/Jensen seemed to show equal or better raw stuff than that. Of course, all three guys are likely pen guys if they make it up (and considering how Batista's yo-yo'd ... prior to this year, he'd be 3rd on that list of guys I would expect to see up). It might simply be a case where they need to put someone in there and would prefer to see Jensen/Francescon in roles they might be a better fit for long term.
