Comparing him to other position players is apples and oranges. They could theoretically not practice all week but still be ready on Sunday. The QB can't spend all week in the trainer's room and start on Sunday.

who the hell cares if we win on sunday. its not going to make a difference in your evaluation, it will only hurt the bears moving forward, and not giving your younger players a chance to play in a lost season hurts the future. I wouldn't be saying this if Trestman didn't already make the stupid decision to bench Jay last week, but since he has and (in my mind) the Jay-Trestman marriage is broken beyond repair, just give Fales a freaking start.

Well even with a win, with Atlanta at least playing for something, maybe we don't f up our draft position too bad. Either way we'll be top 10, so we should be able to get an impact player, but every little bit would help.

Had 330 yards against the Vikes last month, and Tannehill put up 396 against them yesterday. Still an outside chance he can hit 4,000.

 

A good game will also bump him to a 90+ QB rating finish.
