when you look at the AZL numbers, the average batting line is something like .255/.333/.365/.698. so jimenez (.267/.313/.440/.753) and torres (.261/.368/.352/.720) are more than holding their own as 17 year olds. good to see. i wonder if either one will get a shot at starting with kane county next season?

I think both start at Kane County next year.

Jimenez is looking far more advanced than I'd have thought.

Sorry that may be more "dreamy eyes" than "sleepy" but damn it's Kapowski so whatever.

RBI single Almora. Now 4/5. Russell singles to load the bases. He is 4/5 as well. Edited by ctcf

Russell up to .307 and Almora has raised his average .150 points in one night.

JJ Cooper @jjcoop36

Cubs' Addison Russell since Thursday 12-for-24, 3 HR, 3 2B. Cubs' impact prospect depth is insane.

Even wilder, to me, is that line comes with not just one, but two major adjustments involved.

Vitters. And Szczur. And Brett. And McNutt.

I've got some offseasons of catch up to do though.

What do you mean by this?

Haven't heard Schwarber's name lately in the daily minor league thread. Has he gone ice cold the past week or so since being promoted to Daytona?
