Did Olt have extreme L/R splits in the minors? Why are you so convinced that he can't hit righties well enough to be worth playing?

 

Swing-and-miss percentage against righties:

 

2012 AA: 30.6%

2013 AAA: 37.5%

2014 MLB: 33.3%

 

2011-onward minor league OPS (because that's what minorleaguecentral covers):

 

vs. L OPS: .960

vs. R OPS .790

 

And just visually, he's clearly got some holes in his swing vs. righties that MLB pitchers will exploit consistently. Right-handed breaking stuff completely befuddles him.
