Not the same with Tiger Woods not playing. A bunch of big names including Phil Mickelson miss the cut. Bubba is playing great. Rory got unlucky today. Hit a sprinkler head on 12 and couldn't make a thing. Adam Scott in contention. An Adam Scott, Bubba Watson, or Fred Couples final pairing for Sunday would be good TV. The weather is perfect (outside of the horrendous pollen levels) and the course is playing firm and fast. Will be interesting to see if they give the greens any water tonight, but I doubt it.

Bubba! Hope he keeps it up. Has been a fun 2 days of golf watching thus far... if you can call watching golf fun.

Jordan Spieth not really getting the love he deserves. Dudes 20 and is unquestionably one the best players in the world. The guys on the cut line are 7 back of the pentultimate group so i think everybody has a chance still, including rory and rose. Jimmy walker has 3 wins on tour in the last 6 motnhs and 3 wins on the web tour, I could see him breakng through.

 

I just dont see Bubba holding a lead. Hes just not that kinda player. He got run-down at TPC scottsdale.

 

Will be pulling for Couples but wont be able to deal with a Turberry-like heartbreak this week.

Living in Dallas I've been hearing about Spieth for about 5 years. Kid is mature beyond his years. I think his rise has happened so fast the casual fan has missed him. Guessing he will be top 5 by the end of the year.

Pulling for Fowler at this point. Really impressive for Jimenez and Fowler to play back into it. Will be fun tomorrow tons of guys have a chance.

Heck if he wins, you have to go back as far as 1922 to find someone younger that won a major.
