I'll bet Incognito thought the situation in Miami was fantastic. He'd been kicked to the curb by other organizations multiple times, now suddenly he becomes the de facto leader on an NFL team. Wins a Good Guy award. Must've felt to him like vindication, of sorts.

 

Then the coaches come to him and ask him to fix their problem, no less.
