since daytona lead the series 2-0 and are not in a must-win situation, i assume they will hold cj edwards and pierce johnson for games 4/5, assuming that they are okay with pitching each on 4 days rest.

 

Corey Black will start. And I agree you won't see Edwards or Johnson. Especially with so many fresh arms.

Obviously Balaguert is the biggest loss.

 

I would disagree. The Hawks can fill the outfield void. Lockhart is nowhere as good defensively at short.

 

His replacement might be better but Balaguert is arguably their best player.

Raisin, that's likely true, but the last 3rd of their season, Penalver has out OPS'd Balaguert .904 to .700.
