Well, it's annoying that a lefty of theirs can hit it that far the other way against a LHP

Whut.

Who is even the last left handed hitter the Cubs has that could hit lefties? I know Rizzo was pretty good at it earlier in the season but has tapered off, and even when he does get a hit its a little dribbler up the middle.

Yet Chavez comes up there and hits one 420 feet the other way. It's just aggravating.

Chavez sucks against lefties. Him hitting that was like Rizzo getting some hits against lefties; it happens, but how the [expletive] are you going to pretend like Chavez can actually hit LH pitchers on a regular basis?

Just to add a few numbers to further illustrate this point:

Chavez vs. RHP in 2013: .913 OPS

Chavez vs. LHP in 2013: .400 OPS (before today and only 15 PAs)

Chavez career vs. RHP: .870 OPS

Chavez career vs. LHP: .686 OPS

You're wasting your gift on Rondon. He isn't going anywhere. Like Lendy, they'll let him suck away the rest of the season and then dump him in A+-AA.
