I'm for keeping Dale still, but he needs to be given an idiot proof bullpen.

 

That or they're just making him trot him out there in an attempt to salvage any value or something, since there's not really anything to lose.

It's not just his misuse of Marmol that's the issue; he has consistently made questionable or obviously bad pitching decisions that have cost this team way, way more losses than they should have right now. He's managed to make a bad bullpen even worse.

The pulling of Russell after one or two batters is the thing that drives me the most insane. You can maybe talk yourself into the Marmol stuff being something the FO is dictating, but you're absolutely right about the rest of the BP management. It's completely atrocious and it really is surprising with the many good decisions he makes in other areas of the game.
