I like the way Arenado has started the season. Iwakuma, Dempster, and Slowey are on a nice roll. Chapman and Reed make a great pen.

Pagan is set to play tomorrow, so he's back in. BJ the K machine to the bench.

Viciedo returns from DL and placed in starting lineup and benched Kubel. Moved Stanton from bench to DL.

How does Juan justify a 5-man bench?

 

I can see a 4-man bench since he has only 6 active pitchers...but the fifth man?

 

Am I missing something?

Looks like Straily got called up on 4/30. Maybe he brought him up without dropping anyone? Only has 9 prospects and no recent adds, so that's my guess.

 

ETA - yup, had straily in the minors in week 4. Brought him up Week 5 and didn't drop anyone. He lost last week anyone, but should lose all his points for the last 2 weeks.

Dose of my own medicine this week. 3rd or 4th highest score all week. Losing to a team getting an average of about 25-26 points per start.

This week I had 357 and didn't even win my own game.
