I had the game on mute and just by watching Kane's reaction, I didn't think he scored there. Amazing

Hayes made a couple plays defensively and he was right where you'd want him on Oduya's goal. But otherwise, yeah, he looked like he wasn't Jeremy Morin.

Best hockey game I've ever attended. Columbus' defense was really good, and Bobrovsky played out of his mind. Once it went to shootout, I knew the Jackets were toast.

 

Still, 9 game point streak for CBJ, and only 3 points out of the #8 seed

yeah, they're kind of annoying. the most annoying thing is that unlike the hawks, they're not that good. if i was going to make a case that the level of competition is higher in the east, anaheim would be example 1A.

 

we may be talking about a historically lucky team here. their even-strength +/- is best in the league (i.e. getting results), yet their score-adjusted fenwick (as of 3/12) is 24th in the league.
