Would make sense to have the order finalized soon.

i'll look at it some time this week. what's the issue...which tiebreakers determine the draft order for teams that were tied as of 7/31?

Yes. Tiebreakers, esp when there are 3+ teams tied. My earlier post has the 7/31 order with ties noted. I think I also posted the end of season order with ties for the prospect draft.

Some damn fine hitters in the draft this year.

Pitchers...not so much.

I don't think head to head and division record were intended for sorting out draft order as you would be comparing records of teams that aren't in the same division, which doesn't really make sense. Head to head is easy enough to apply but I wouldn't use division record. I will add the disclaimer that doing this benefits me and in that three way tie, all three teams are in the same division. The four way tie wouldn't really make sense though.

So...are we set on 3/1?

If so, can we publish the official draft order and prospect draft order? Also, Bukie was kind enough last year to put together a list of the major IFA's and whether they were eligible for the Major or Minor league phases of the draft. Anyone care to give that a run this year?

Thanks!

Thanks!

The only ones I know for sure right now are Paniagua and Soler for the Cubs.

EDIT: And Puig and everyone signed here

Any of them not prospects? Obviously Soler is.

Everyone in bukie's list is a prospect (heck, most of them won't even be playing minor league baseball in the U.S. this season). The only big league international guys I can think of off the top of my head are SS Hiroyuki Nakajima, reliever Kyuji Fukikawa and starting pitcher Ryu Hyun-Jin.

Over the weekend, I can come up with a list of the biggest minor league IFAs signed since our last prospect draft.

yes, i think the draft order should be by record with total points as the tiebreaker.
