Candelario made a really good play to field a bunt and throw the guy out just now.

Arias should be done. Great stateside debut. 5 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K.

Marco Hernandez having a rough day in the field. Made 2 fielding errors on relatively simple plays, the 2nd could have been a double play and ended up leading to Salem-Keizer's 2 runs.

And Marco Hernandez just lined an RBI single up the middle to tie the game at 2 in the top of the 9th.

And Salem-Keizer walks off in the 12th inning on Marco Hernandez' 3rd error of the game. At least this one was a tough hop and a more understandable error than the first two.

When did this happen and why? It's not like he was a desperation, extra inning emergency reliever either. He was the first out of the pen.

Spencer converted a while back.

Isn't 26 a bit old for a conversion like that?

Boise's announcer seems to have a nice blob and some decent tweets.

He touches on the 3 errors by Hernandez.

THE GOOD - It starts with starting pitcher Jose Arias, who tossed five shutout innings, allowing just three singles and striking out two. Arias did not allow a runner to reach second base. According to pitching coach David Rosario, his velocity was not what it has been (sat at 92-93 mph), but he threw his fastball where he wanted to all night.

Velocity hyperbole is pretty routine, so who knows. But if he's "sitting" at 92-93 on a slow day, that's a pretty fast guy. Most of the guys who "touch" "mid-90's" or "touch 95" don't "sit" at 92-93. Especially not on a slow day.
