I missed this, but apparently the Post-Dispatch ran an asterisk on their headline of the no-hitter on account of the missed call. Of course, the NY Daily News responded, and I think wins the point:

If they really wanted to rile up the St. Louis fans, they should have said Wainwright's curveball to Beltran wasn't a strike.

They're on a 5 game bender, managed one run all weekend.

 

And they're upset -- not with their own team for reeking to high heaven -- but with the umps.
