If you're going to do interleague, then do it all the way. Or scrap it. Either way, teams in a division should have the same schedule.

 

I don't even know what "do it all the way" means here.

 

Interleague is small portion of the schedule. It works that way. I see no reason to have it take up so much of the season. And I see no reason why everybody in a division has to have a perfectly matched schedule.

If 18.5% of your games isn't a large amount, then why are you whining about the 1.9% difference that occurs when you face a rival twice and a division opponent does not?

i'm saying there's an easy solution to balance the schedules. if teams are in a division together it's logical to make them have the same schedule.

 

the schedule as is doesn't really bother me. but when the astros move to the al, there's a pretty easy chance to ensure teams have same schedule as the rest of their division

I don't think the goal of even schedules is a worthy enough goal to go overboard with 30 interleague games. There's nothing to be gained and a big risk scheduling so many more games that will be tougher to sell.
