I do not think we have started this thread yet this year.

I still have a few adjustments, but

C - Mauer = 188.5

1b - Votto = 579.8

2b - Cano = 558

ss - Gordon = exempt

OF - Pence = 496

OF - McCutchen = exempt

SP - Romero = exempt

SP - Hudson = exempt

SP - ? = exempt

SP - ? = exempt

Points = 1822.3

The last two starters will be picked from Chapman, Niese, Nicasio, and DeLaRosa who are all exempt.

at one point, i had a group that totaled 1999.25, and i kinda wanted to keep them just to win "closest to 2000" ever.

I fully expect unless I have a miracle draft that my team will be in the lower tier this year. Due to the way the points broke out, I couldn't keep Beckett by 5 points and some of my starting fielders, while good, were too risky to keep. So, I ended up with this:

Kemp, Matt CF LAD 642.2

Uggla, Dan 2B ATL 446

Joyce, Matt RF TB 0

Davis, Ike 1B NYM 0

Posey, Buster C SF 0

Kershaw, Clayton SP LAD 810

Axford, John RP MIL 0

Bard, Daniel RP BOS 0

Arrieta, Jake SP BAL 0

Total = 1898.2.

I do have some hope that Matt Moore will be an amazing ROY and help the starting staff and Daniel Bard will embrace his starting role, but those are big what ifs ???

My team is a mess.

it does look like a few teams (like alamo stealth and bazingas) have made their necessary roster adjustments but just haven't posted their keepers here yet.

also, is the function to view last year's stats screwed up? when i click on year, 2011 it brings up some weird grid. the default is 3-year stats, which don't matter relative to keepers.

I noticed the same thing. Hopefully no one set their keeper lists based on those numbers.

However, if you hover over "players" tab on the main page and then click on stats, you can then click on the "by team" stats and then click the year 2011 to get to the stats that do count towards the cap.

thanks. so it looks like these are the teams that haven't pared down rosters or posted their keepers on here:

habitual linesteppers (juan)

harry's budcrew (chuck)

nc cubs (was rob - now needs new owner)

sock it thome (karen)

maybe tootielicious? (can't tell if he has too many major league keepers)

Sorry, guys. I've been stuck on the project from hell for the past month. If someone else with commish access could run with things for the next week, I'd appreciate it. I should free up a little at that point. I believe GR also needs access to both the league and the forum here.

As for my keepers, here are your defending and future champs!

What are we thinking for potential start to draft? I'm getting married March 17th so the couple of days before and after that will be slammed.

Huh? I'm the second post in this thread. :-k

I think March 17th would be a perfect day for the draft. :D

Start and Finish? Yep. Major League and Prospect? Yep again.

That might be better than green beer and corned beef and cabbage.

I would prefer sticking with an extended draft. I think with 16 teams it's too difficult to get everyone together. Plus I can tell you now I would not be able to make this date.
