yup, let lucas attack and hope our bigs can clean it up. and by "our bigs" i mean noah.

plus if he can start penetrating that might start collapsing so korver and rip can get some looks. those guys were locked down all game because we had no penetration.

Lucas isn't really a "cut to the basket" scorer though. Neither is CJ. They're shooters. Deng and Hamilton are the only guys that really can get any penetration at all.

Pretty much. Deng moves great without the ball, but he's pretty limited when he has the ball in his hands trying to create his own shot. I think of Rip in the same mold too. He's more of a guy that relies on screens to free himself up to get good looks. The Bulls are severely lacking in guys that can create their own shot. That was extremely evident in the entire second half the other night.

Of course, if you play strong D, and hit some of your jumpshots, you can cover up a lot of things against the lower seeds. The Bulls did neither in the 2nd half of game 2.

Deng said Thursday he remains committed to the Olympics, where he will be the face of the British national team. Deng added he hasn’t decided on surgery but that it remains an option.

Deng did say he is more accustomed to playing with the injury now after initially struggling with the pain and limitations it placed on his game. Deng has been driving more and dribbling with his left hand, two things he mostly avoided when he first came back Feb. 4.

I've noticed that. And his shooting seems marginally better as well. It doesn't make sense though....from everything I read, the wrist won't get better without surgery. Is that just wrong? Or is he more tolerant to the pain or has he strengthened the surrounding muscles enough that he can shoot and driver with his left hand and deal with the pain?

If it's gonna make him less than 100%, I'd rather him just miss the first couple of months by getting the surgery. Thibs has proven he can win in the regular season with a mediocre cast, so if he can tread water through November, December and part of January, and then get Rose (at less than 100%) and Deng back, we should still be able to get a top 4 seed with no problem IMO.

Or, Deng could forget the Olympics, and do what's best for the Chicago Bulls. That is, have the surgery as soon as the Bulls get eliminated, and be back to 100% by training camp so the team can stay afloat without Rose.

Yeah why should he play for his home country while they host the Olympics after spending 3 years building up the British national team and helping them qualify for the first time in their history?

I understand your side where the Bulls pay him so he should do whats best for them, but this is a once an a lifetime opportunity for him and he's spent years committed to this summer. I have 0 problem with it.

Check out those Philly fans cheering Noah's injury. They deserve the shitty reputation they have.

I'm trying my best not to wish harm on Philly fans right now for cheering at Noah's injury.

It's ok, they're pieces of [expletive].

Why was Noah even let back in the game? This is why the Bulls medical staff is consitently a joke.

The officiating in this game is a [expletive] disgrace.

Joey Crawford, every time he does a game, I swear
