Brandon Roy in a wheelchair is better then Keith Bogans. His 3rd to last game featured one of the awesomest 4rth quarters in league history. Id love to give him a chance to contribute in a limited role.

Yup, I'd love Roy as a 10-15 minute per game player. But I would obviously never count on him to be there in a big game. If he's there it's just a bonus. Kinda like Rip at this point.

Between Rip and Roy, you'd have a moderate chance one would play on a given day.

Rip is a game-time decision. He'll take part in warmups.

It'd be nice to get him out there tonight, and get a bit of time on the court before the Spurs tomorrow.

Rip starting tonight.

I just read that he's not playing

Nevermind...10 minutes ago they were saying he's not playing due to conditioning, and last minute now he's starting.

Dengs shot has really been off the last few games. Korver too. We were absolutely awful from 3 last night. That and rebounding were the main reasons the game was close.

I hope Rip can stay healthy.

I'm a bit disappointed that the Bulls released Mike James. I'd rather have him than Lucas.

I don't think there's a more useless player in the league than Korver when he's not making wide open 3's.

Yep. He was especially bad defensively last night too. It's silly how many times he'll intentionally wrap up a guy going in for a fast break layup and still somehow let them get the bucket and the +1.

James was on a 10 day contract. If we picked him up, his contract would be guaranteed for the rest of the season. Lucas's contract is already guaranteed for the rest of the season, and I'm sure Jerry doesn't want to get any closer to that luxury tax.

Yep. I understand all of that, and even mentioned a week or two ago that I figured it would happen this way. I was just hoping that the the Bulls would make the decision based on talent instead of money. I know it's only the third string PG position, but I thought James was quite a bit better than Lucas.

I, too, thought James was better but hopefully everyone stays healthy and then third string point guard won't really matter.

No doubt this is true (22-57 for .386 % in 4 games prior to break). But rather strangely he has been red hot from 3 (12-22 for .545 %). That means he's only been shooting 10-35 from 2 those 4 games (.286). Thats.

Then last night he did the exact opposite. 5-11 from 2 and 1-5 from 3.

And it's not like he's just barely missing. He's had an alarming amount of airballs.

@joakimnoah and @asikomer are now on twitter. These could be epic.

Unless I'm forgetting someone the whole team is now on, minus Rose and Scal
