Is the Saints D really this bad? I knew it wasn't good.

There's no reason they should be bad.

I fear that they aren't bad, which means the Packers are really just that damn good.

The Packs are really that damn good (on offense).

What sucks is it takes one of the Bears best scoring options out of the picture.

Packers are sure clicking tonight but you can't judge a Saints D by their performance against a top offense that has been on top of their game.

Oh, and the Bears defense has the Packers number so I wouldn't be too concerned about slowing them down.

Really? Seeing this shouldn't give a Bear fan pause at all?

Not so much. It's the first half of football for the season.

Doesn't give me any more pause than last year.

the bears defense can shut down the packers offense, so i'm not concerned about them head to head. i'm more concerned about the bears' offense against the pack defense.

No, Green Bay looked brilliant against the Eagles and Falcons and aside from the first couple of drives (which was probably the difference in the NFC Title Game) the Packers did nothing against the Bears. I expect nothing less than a physical, low scoring, close game when the two teams meet.

It is also the first half against a good team that can still win this game.

Dan Patrick just asked if we're going to see a record-setting season from Green Bay. Let's save the hyperbole for Week 4.

Ugh, reminds me of when everyone crowned them Super Bowl Champs at the end of pre-season two years ago.

Nice game thus far. Although Brees is getting more yardage than he should, and Sproles needs to be contained.

Brees is pretty good.

Kickoffs are like concussion parties for those without the ball.

I still like the idea to give up on the whole idea of kickoffs, give the scoring team the ball on their own 30 with a 4th and 10(or on the 35 with 4th and 15, etc). Let them punt or try to play make it take it.

Football is a concussion party by nature. I think that's way too radical of a change to the game.

I think the rule change will be talked about for a few weeks and then largely forgotten.
