I think it was in 2001, the Cubs won a game vs. the Rockies in a wild, walk-off rundown in which Ricky Gutierrez fell down but scored. It was the same game Angel Hernandez tossed Steve McMichael after Mongo said he was going to "have speaks" with him after the game RE: a blown call.

 

I swear I've seen video of this, but I can't find it. Can anyone help?

Did you try MLB.com, or YouTube? Oh wait, that's right, MLB doesn't actually like people being able to go back and watch past moments of their games. i was the original uploader of that video a long time ago. i'll do a search on my externals this weekend and upload it somewhere to view again.

 

i was at that game and, after that play, it was the loudest i've ever heard wrigley...and that includes playoff games.

But as long as we have that situation somewhat resolved....

I have been looking for years for the '89 highlight video with the song by Friheight (I know it's spelled wrong.) I had most of it on VHS (Tape ran out before the video was over) and now after many moves and a car catching on fire, I have no idea as to the whereabouts of that tape. I have googled and youtubed and found nothing.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, just got to thinking about that highlight video when I saw the title of this topic. Thanks!!

I'll never forget that game. From start to finish it was one of the craziest games I've ever seen. One of my top 5 favorite regular season games of all time, easily.
