[A picture, a real big one]

Haha! In St. Louis no less. =D>

I'm going to word this carefully. If you don't stop using pictures in 95% of your posts, I'm going to ban you.

While I don't expect Pujols to be a Cub, I love the fact that the guy is wearing a Cubs Pujols jersey in St Lou. I don't see a problem with the post. Is the issue that most of his posts contain this or other pictures? I don't see the ban-able offense.

Can you back that up, that he used pics in 95% of his posts? And so what if he did? If they were objectionable wouldn't the user have been banned for using that offense already?

It would seem to me that moderators tossing around the ban thread, for trivial issues, is a lot worse for a message board than an overabundance of pictures.

Posting pictures that are barely germane to the topic at hand without comment can be considered spamming/trolling if done in the appropriate quantity. As you can see from the response, it was something that irritated quite a few people. The strong wording is in response to the mods' belief that this particular poster was an old friend trying to come up with a new way of annoying NSBB.

OK, from the casual visitor's view it looks like the moderators are being a little heavy-handed in their dealings with some posters.

that's because some posters are terrible and should be banned

And some posters were terrible but shouldn't have been banned.

Could it be Cubs GM pulling an MC Pee Pants?

Hiroki Kuroda could be a decent option.

His age and likely contract concern me. The numbers are perfectly fine, but he's 36 and those numbers indicate he'd get a contract that could take him very close to 40 (3-4 years maybe?).

If we could get him on a 1-2 year deal, however, that'd be something to consider.

Damn, I thought he was like 32.
