Technically, that should have been a DP.

They didn't get one out.... but "techincally" that should be two ??? WTF ??

They did get Ramirez out at 2nd on that one.

No they didn't.

......yes, they did.

M Byrd grounded into fielder's choice to third, A Ramirez out at second.

Just because Paul Emmel made another terrible call does not mean that "they did get Ramirez out at 2nd on that one"

Well, he actually got that call right, unlike the call earlier in the game. His foot was still on the bag when he got the ball in his glove.

When the ball was securely in the fielder's glove and he had control of it, he was already off the base.

Please try and remember that the original post was wondering how getting one, shall we say, questionable out on a play should somehow "technically be a double play".

I reiterate...... WTF ???

Enough is enough of this garbage. Hopefully they can go ahead and fire somebody if for no other reason to appease us meatballs. If they don't want to do away with Quade just yet, I think the $3 million hitting coach would be a good choice.

Pathetic. At least tomorrow's 9-2 loss will be more palatable, especially if it leads to the backing up of the truck. The White Sox may be mediocre at best, but they're head and shoulders above the Cubs in every aspect of the game. They deserve this town, and they can have it.
