I'm starting a new thread rather than cluttering up the normal weekly thread, which I should have done in the first place. I've been getting enough PMs that it's hard to respond to each one individually. At the moment I'd have to say the offers I like best are Dominic Brown, Hank Conger, Grant Green, and #1 pick in the 2012 prospect draft or Ike Davis, Casey Kelly, Matt Moore, and #1 pick in the 2012 prospect draft (I keep going back and forth between the two). I've received a few other good offers as well, but in my mind they are a bit short of the two I mentioned. I still plan to decide by tomorrow morning or around noon, so there's still time.

I don't know if this is the best way to approach trading, but it seems to be working since I'm getting very competitive offers. Sometimes there's something to be said for being an also-ran. :D

Unless you don't want to compete next year you need at least a 1st round pick in both the regular and prospect draft. All those players you mentioned won't get you in the playoffs till 2014 if ever.

Not trying to sway my opinion, are you? :D

Robert, I'm pretty sure you know what the right decision is here...

Would you rather hear me humbly accept a 2nd consecutive RK championship or hear Adam gloat forever about his 4th career RK championship ?

so i guess shane is hereby offering you his first round picks in both drafts and 3 prospects/exempt players.

Very close to being true. And we both know those prospects will no do much for him next season. As loaded as the next prospect draft is going to be that pick is more valuable than most every prospect being offered today. Besides he doesn't need 15 prospects, he needs points next year too.

The hat I just threw into this three ring circus just got bigger.

I like it, I might not get him but lets make Lincecum expensive as [expletive].

Damn. I'm too late to make an offer.

This thread has been pretty hilarious, however.

Nevermind. I just noticed that most of my prospects suck. I'm looking forward to when CBS starts giving us more player news on prospects. Heck, some stats would be a good start.

I personally think I offered more than that, and I know at least one other person did too, but hey, whatever. :)
I'm sure everybody thought they had a better offer, but like beauty it's in the eye of the beholder. Too bad I only had one Lincecum to trade.

When Dominic Brown becomes the next Corey Patterson and Hank Conger moves to Japan play baseball and be closer to his illegitimate babies, don't come crying to me...

And again, who the hell is Grant Green and when will he ever demonstrate any value...

(I'm not bitter)
