How in the hell does Miguel Tejada still deserve 6.5 million? For a .692 OPS? I'm assuming his defense isn't that great either at this age. You don't have a minor league prospect that can have a .650-.700 ops and good d in the majors for 500k?

 

If these guys (Uribe and Tejada) are setting the market, we're in trouble.

They have the same formula as the 2001-2004 Cubs only with healthy pitching instead of Prior, Zambrano, and Wood.

 

I still don't have hope for the Cubs b/c they don't have anything like the young arms that SF has.
