Colin Cowherd was talking about how Rose and Wall aren't the sharpest tools in the shed and LeBron didn't want to come to Chicago because Rose isn't a smart player. While that last part isn't true at all, Rose's on court awareness definitely needs to improve.

Watching the Bulls play basketball in the closing minutes of a close game is extremely frustrating. I really wish the schedule to open the year didn't suck so bad.

I think Rose looks bad a times because he has to do everything himself. He can either force up a bad shot driving to the hoop or take his chances on a mediocre shooter taking a jump shot. We just don't have a lot of offensive talent.

he just needs to make adjustments, it happens to all young players that rely more on strength/speed/athleticism at first. The good news is that he's intelligent enough as a person to make this change

Teams quickly realized that if you bottle Rose up in the lane, there are no other consistent scoring options to hurt you. As JVG said during the game: Garnett didn't have to rotate on the pick and roll, because the person Rose would be passing too wasn't likely to score.

I'm not sure I can understand your complaint here. Well, I understand, but can't agree.

 

You've got a "shooting" guard in Bogans that goes 1-3 for the game. The one significant outside threat on the team (Korver) doesn't get much floor time. The defenses are just sagging back into the middle and making the Bulls beat them from the outside. Rose gets doubled on every pick and roll because nobody else is a threat. There just aren't many opportunities there for him to get to the inside.
