Sit/start week 2

Figured I'd get a start on this early. Here's a possible tough one:

 

Palmer v Ravens

VY v Steelers

Favre v Dolphins

 

I'm figuring Favre, but the Viking offense didn't look that good last week and VY and Palmer both put up better fantasy numbers. The Dolphins are probably the weakest defense of the group, but the Ravens without Ed Reed aren't fear-inducing either. But VY's ability to run (and my general homerism) is making me consider him.

 

Thoughts?

 

Favre. But I really don't like any of the match ups for those 3 to be honest.

The Texans putting up 34 points last week and Schaub only getting me 10.6 points pissed me off. I don't really believe Washington's defense is all that great despite. Young had a pretty good week last week, going against the Steelers worries me a little bit.

 

So Schaub vs. Washington or VY against the Steelers. Right now its Schaub for me.

Concerned about what I'm seeing from the Jets defense tonight. So it might just be, pick one of the Patriots.

 

EDIT: Also, Eli at Colts or Palmer vs. Ravens? Eli in a no-brainer?

Interesting decision. Moreno would be my pick but not by much. Jackson will go against the worst run d in the league last year but John Kuhn could take the Goal Line carries for GB.

The Bears looked really good at stopping the run last week, albeit against the Lions. Who knows if its a fluke, but when the Bears were a dominant defense a few years ago they were much more effective against the run.

I started Charles over Best. Yikes. Also, for some unknown reason, my opponent started Jason Snelling at flex over Steve Smith South, yet by the grace of god(Andre Johnson) I'm only down by 12 with Pierre Thomas and Vernon Davis left. I just might pull this off.

I'd say you've got a better than 50% chance of pulling that one off. Which is amazing, because that dude that started Snelling either has a horseshoe up his ass or should start a side career as a fortune teller.

 

I'm up by 10 and out of bullets. Opponent has the SF defense/special teams. In our league, you get a certain number of points for holding the score down, but get nothing after 20. I think it's fair to say NO will put up 20 on them. That leaves INTS/fumbles (2 each) and sacks (1). If he gets a D/ST touchdown, I will break something.

In one of my leagues this week my opponent's QBs were Kevin Kolb and Josh Johnson. Ouch (for him, that is). He can't even pick the right Tampa Bay QB named Josh. :D

Haha SF D got him two points. 2-0 is awfully nice, though my points against are the lowest in the league BY FAR. So I'm getting lucky. Makes up for last year when I was the high scorer in the league and managed to miss the playoffs.
