He had 4 starts, 11 relief appearances in 2002 (less than 10 starts, less than 25 relief)

26 starts in 2003 (Exemption 1)

3 starts in 2004

Not in Majors 2005

2 relief appearances in 2006

25 relief appearances in 2007 (Exemption 2)

Not in majors in 2008 or 2009

27 starts this year.

According to the rules, does that mean he has his last exemption after this season?

You seem to be confusing exemption status with minor league eligibility. For pitchers an exemption is burned in a year a pitcher has 5 starts or 10 total appearances, so the first exemption was barely burned in 2002. The exemption criteria are included in this thread under D. Keeper Roster.

Cool. I thought those limits were pretty high. That's fine.
