I don't think it will happen because I think they are going to move Zack. I think that after them protectin ghim from the media for three years, but then him running to the media to blast them for having to rebuild again was the final straw. I think, like you alluded to, if they move Zack they have to have Billy and Soria around for name value. I do think though with what they have coming soon they would be best served to trade all three guys now for big time prospects and be ready to compete in 2012.

Are they still holding out hope for Gordon?

They have Mike Moustakas tearing it up for them. He looks to be their 3rd baseman of the future. Who knows what is going on with Gordon. They are going to be shipping some players out soon though because they are running out of spots unless they are planning on fielding a really really bad defensive squad.

Gordon is an outfielder. He said himself he doesn't want to play 3b anymore. I do think they will keep him, but would move him if they got a decent offer for him.
