Look at my team!

12 team, non-PPR

QB-Romo

WR-Austin

WR-Knox

RB-MJD

RB-Charles

W/R-Pierre Thomas

TE-Carlson

K-Carpenter

DEF-Dolphins

Bench-Foster, Best, Mike Wallace, Roethlisberger, Stafford, Donald Brown, Jacoby Jones, Bernard Scott

Need to start Wallace over Knox probably, and trade a RB or 2 for a WR. But a decent team.

Got pretty much all the guys I am targeting in my league. I'd be a happy guy if Thomas (3rd), Best (5th), Foster (8th), Big Ben (10th), DBrown (9th), J Jones (12th) and B Scott (14-15th) are all on the board when I pick in the rounds next to their names.

I'm going to be deciding often between Braylon Edwards and Knox. Suggestions? I have Knox in there now for Week 1 because NYJ is playing Baltimore.

I hate Braylon, so I might be the wrong person to ask, but I'd go w/ Knox.

I used the footballguys thing mentioned in the other thread. I like what it has to say.

QB: Tony Romo, Matthew Stafford, Ben Roethlisberger

RB: Maurice Jones-Drew, Pierre Thomas, Jahvid Best, Jamaal Charles, Arian Foster, Donald Brown, Bernard Scott

WR: Miles Austin, Mike Wallace, Johnny Knox, Jacoby Jones

TE: John Carlson

PK: Dan Carpenter

TD: Miami Dolphins

Overview:

Congratulations! You seem to have grabbed quality players at every turn of this draft. It's rare indeed to be better than the average team at the three core positions (quarterback, running back and receiver), but we think this team is.

You must be among the favorites in this league and have positioned yourself to grab one of the playoff spots. But before you start engraving the trophy, realize that the draft is not the end of the story. Things can and do go wrong, so you need to remain diligent throughout the year to ensure you remain strong until the playoffs.

Players we particularly like on this team include Tony Romo, Pierre Thomas, Miles Austin, Johnny Knox, Arian Foster, and Jahvid Best. We have all these guys ranked ahead of where they are typically being drafted.

Bottom line:

With great inseason management, we think you have about a 99 percent chance of making the playoffs.

With good inseason management, we think you have about a 99 percent chance of making the playoffs.

With average inseason management, we think you have a 94 percent chance of making the playoffs.

I like the team.

Big fan of Austin. Provided MJD stays durable, he'll put up points. Like Pierre Thomas as well, although I'd like him more if they gave him the ball more at the goal line. #2 RB with good upside. Solid TE.

Knox won't make or break this team. If the Cowboys with Romo and Austin have a big year, you'll be sitting pretty.

Since I have so much RB depth, would trading MJD for Roddy White and Jermichael Finley be smart?

damn, that's tough...but i'd probably pull the trigger...only because i really like foster and the rest of your depth at rb...if only this were a ppr league, you'd dominate.

If you want to use a Top RB to upgrade at WR and/or TE, make sure you get an elite WR or TE. Finley and White might be about equitable, but I don't think it's a very smart use of MoJo Drew as a trading chip.

I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Finley might be a number 1 TE this year if healthy. White is a top 5 receiver. You turn both positions into big strengths.

Between Thomas, Best, Charles, Foster, you can easily cover for the loss of MJD. People keep saying MJD is going to wear down at some point anyways. And some people are touting Jahvid Best as Chris Johnson Jr.

I can't believe you ended up with that team. Who did you draft against? Geez.

My friends. It's a money league, so I wouldn't be too upset if I ran away with the title. But to be fair, we did draft awhile ago and most of those RBs had question marks. Haley was saying Charles would be the back up(I was smart enough to see through his evil trickery), Foster was still in a competition with Tate, and Thomas wasn't(and still kinda isn't) guaranteed a heavy workload. I am surprised that I got Brown so late considering all my friends are Colts fans.

My friend pulled the trade before I could accept it. I'm gonna see if I can get Andre Johnson or something.

Traded MJD, Carlson, and Brown(ugh) for Andre Johnson and Vernon Davis.

So...what 3 RBs do I start this week? Thomas(MIN), Charles(SD), Foster(IND) or Best(CHI)? Leaning towards sitting Best.

I'd probably start Best over Jamal Charles. Bears run D ain't that great, and they struggle with smaller speedy backs. Plus, don't know how KC will use Charles and Thomas Jones. And the Chargers could get up early, meaning more passing for KC, which would work in Charles' favor in a PPR.

Either way, you have a lineup of Romo, Austin, A Johnson, V Davis, before your RBs....you can probably pick 3 names out of a hat and win a lot of games.
