My friend sent me this, might be from a tenn paper.

The lean right hander was warming up when two young fans came up along side the bullpen. They screamed "Chris can you autograph our sign" The sign read "ARCH-MAZING : NEXT STOP WRIGLEY." The 21 year old Archer stopped his bullpen session and went over to the kids and signed their poster and t-shirts. He turned around and heard "Can I have a picture with you" But it wasnt the kids, it was the Dad this time. Archer turned to take a quick snapshot and the dad said "Thanks, this will be worth a lot one day" Archer replied "I hope So." The dad told me it showed the "class" that the kid has.

In the game the first pitch Archer fired registered 96 on the two scouts' radar guns infront of me. They turned to each other and mouthed "Pretty Good" simultaneously. Archer pitched 7 strong giving up 1 run on 1 hit and 8 strikeouts.

"I've definitely made some progress," Archer said. "Once you start thinking things are a problem, you let it get to your head. I think about throwing strikes, and I need to keep working to reach my maximum potential."

Archer is 14-2 with a 1.97 ERA in 23 outings -- 22 of them starts -- between Tennessee and Daytona.Opponents are batting just .190 against the right-hander this year. He's given up five homers in 118 2/3 frames.

On Tuesday, he matched a career high by going seven innings for the first time since Aug. 8, 2007 with the Gulf Coast Indians. The Indians' fifth-round pick in 2006, Archer was sent along with Jeff Stevens and John Gaub to the Cubs in exchange for popular cub Mark DeRosa. When I asked a Cubs Official earlier this year if the trade was worth it he replied "What do you think." Many experts were puzzled with the trade and why the Cubs would want a young pitcher heading no where. But in matter of fact he is heading somewhere, he is on his way to the Major Leagues.

Who knew there was a market for photos of good baseball players and creepy old men? I've got a picture of my uncle with a young Greg Maddux, I better put it on eBay and, you know, start living the good life.

If it were me I probably would've been a Debbie Downer about it and told him "What? No it won't. Pictures aren't worth anything unless they're autographed and even then the only ones that are worth something are the officially authorized MLB photos where the signature has a certificate of authenticity. What you want is an autograph on an official Major League Baseball. That photo won't be worth bubkis"

This sounds exactly like what Greinke would say in that situation
