Juan sent me a PM saying that he simply doesn't have time to manage his team on a day to day basis at this point and suggested we find a new manager for the team.

 

If anyone knows someone they'd like to recruit...go for it.

I have three possible candidates in mind who a few of us are familiar with, either from another league that Karen is also in (the same league Brian was in several years ago) or from cubs.com back in the day. The three I have in mind are Cindy (CubzGal), Klaus (Dokta on cubs.com; Naked Sheeps in the other league), or Richard (Cubs Addict on cubs.com; Bleacher Bums in the other league). I'll e-mail them one at a time to find out. If someone else finds a replacement in the meantime that's fine too; as I e-mail them I'll mention that somebody else may take the spot first.

I'm leaving town tomorrow morning and I will have limited access until Tuesday of next week.

Yes, but I leave for NY tomorrow at 6:30am. I'll be there until Friday night, then I leave for south africa. I'll be there for a week, then I'll be home for a night before leaving for pittsburgh. Then Montreal before back to Pittsburgh.

 

Next time I'll be home for 24 straight hours will be the end of the month.

Sorry guys - this has been a crazy year and I didn't really see it coming. Been asses and alligators since the middle of february and I don't see much relief coming. I'm glad you found a capable manager though - probably rescue my sorry lot.
