More Unlikely

Which of these 2 scenarios seem more unlikely at the current time?

Carlos Silva winning 20 games

OR

Ubaldo Jiminez winning 30 games

If either one of these happen, the world might just explode, but it could make for an interesting bet.

Jimenez easily. Like you said, I'd be shocked if either happened, but it has to be Jimenez. Only two guys in the last 30 years have even won 25 games in a season - Welch 27 in 1990 and Steve Stone 25 in 1980. All it would take is a couple bad starts and a couple where your team doesn't score any runs and that costs you 30.

Silva winning 20 is unlikely; Jiminez winning 30 is all but impossible. With the advent of 5-man pitching rotations there will never again be a 30-game winner unless the trend goes back to 4-man rotations.
