6 man staffs only take away starts from your best starters.

 

Obviously. But when there really isn't much of a difference between your best starter (Dempster?) and your worst starter (Z? Silva?) then it's not a terrible idea. I'm not suggesting it, but I could see the Cubs using it until somebody gets hurt or once Silva/Gorz starts to suck.
