Good thing for the Cubs that trade fell apart. He's been horrible for the White Sox and his velocity has gone bye bye this year.

He has been bad, but he put together a pretty solid game tonight. 7 strong innings, and I guess his velocity was in the 94-95 range (according to Baseball Tonight).

Who knows if he would have had the same results had we traded for him in the 09 offseason. Different leagues, etc.

Right now I'm pretty glad we don't have yet another ultra expensive contract on our books though.
