Kane has been his usual solid self in the offensive zone, but in a game like this his utter indifference to defense is even more glaring.

It didn't feel like the Canucks outshot the Hawks in that period. And it also didn't feel like the Canucks only won the faceoffs 12-9.

 

I don't remember being this nervous for Game 6 a year ago tonight. I guess the expectations weren't the same. By this point it was sort of house money with that team. Now it's there for the taking, especially if Pittsburgh loses tomorrow night.
