Parisi needed over 60 pitches to get thru his 3 innings. Sure would be interested to know how he looked outside of his line, which was pretty pedestrian.

Nice night for Raley

Player IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA

Raley 5.0 4 0 0 1 5 0 0.00

Castro off to a good start and Brett Jackson 1 for 2 with a BB. He seems to have a great eye.

peoria and daytona are both being shut out. their offenses have been putrid so far.

putrid is right on. team hitting .208 into tonight's game. only Rohan, Bour and Cerda are swinging the bat well. Gotta think the cold weather has some effect on us because Clinton and Beloit aren't on fire either (except Nick Franklin)

Really excited by Raley's outing.

Jackson now 2 for 3 with a walk. Watkins is 2 for 3 as well, playing SS today.

I'd be somewhat intrigued to find out what Marcos Mateo is throwing these days. He's still on the 40 man and now that he's in the pen, he doesn't have to worry about adding a change and can attack fast/slider. If his fastball is still mid-upper 90's and his slider is more consistent ... could be someone to ponder as a call up this year.

dunno if you guys are going to create a new thread for it or something, but AzPhil put up his first report on XST, as their Opening Day occurred.

Admittedly, I lost track of Leverton, so it's nice to here's he's still in the system.

Albert Hernandez coming over is somewhat exciting. Like Morelli, both guys sounded intriguing enough.
