So I figured I'd try this auction thing out. I'm sure I can find enough people to start another league. What can I say? I've got baseball fever, and I've got it bad.

 

This will also be a keeper league. You will be allowed to keep 4 guys on your roster for next season, and then we'll auction the remainder.

You're welcome so long as you're active all season. If you have buddies looking for a good league, they're free to join, too.

 

My ultimate goal is to have a large pool of active and dedicated fantasy sports players to create fun and competitive leagues each season.

I got some nice picks, especially some good young prospects in Chapman and Escobar.

i will also say about players like escobar and chapman, unless they really come through and look great this year, you can't keep them under your format of 4 keepers. i'll use my team as an example - i have zimmerman, felix hernandez, justin upton, adrian gonzalez, ian kinsler, grady sizemore and jayson werth. even if i do make a great pick of someone who improves his status as a prospect, there's probably no chance i can keep him unless most of my big-dollar guys collapse.

I have no sure thing keepers. My likely candidates are Strasburg, Youkilis, Soto, Sandoval, Reyes and McCann. Maybe Z as well.

unless Z refers to someone other than Zambrano, there's almost no chance you'll want to keep him over the rest of that group at the end of the year.
