I added the real Trout and dropped the fake one.

I would like to add the real Shelby Miller, but for some reason he's on Clint's team. I dropped the fake one.

This is why I hate the practice of adding fake players before they are actually available on the CBS database. I went ahead and wasted a waiver pick on Miller because there he was....available or so I thought.

Why did you waste a waiver pick. Just pick him up. Everyone is a free agent as of now and not required to waste your waiver slot to pick them up. The only free agents that should cost you a waiver pick are guys who were dropped during this current week.

I don't see your add in transactions, so apparently you only just set it to add after he clears waivers. Undo that, then re-add the player, but this time don't select any of the boxes. Just click to add him while dropping the other Shelby Miller.

Are we allowed to start placing the obvious DL candidates on the DL at this point? I'd like to get my roster legal today since I don't really know what my plans are this Easter weekend.

Brandon Webb and Alex Gordon WILL be on the DL to start the season even if their respective teams have not made it official yet. Once I place two guys on the DL and release one more player, I will be legal.

I'm assuming that's OK; I did that with Lidge before he was officially placed on the DL. In the past the ruling was that you could do so with the understanding that you'd need to drop the player if for some reason he didn't actually go on the major league DL to start the season. I don't think that's a risk you'd be taking with Webb or Gordon.

Yeah, that seems right. It doesn't hurt to remind people, especially the new managers, of the roster requirements, however.

It really sucks that Texas appears to be going with Feliz in the bullpen again. He barely lost his minor league eligibility last year, so I had to waste the roster spot on my keeper list, and now I have to waste a reserve spot on him now.

Let me guess. You are #1 on the waiver list? :rotfl:

We did a trade to fix the roster issue. Sorry about the waiver issue, Clint.

Being 16th in waiver order has its advantages. I'll get back to you in a few months if I think of what those advantages actually are.

The only one I have right now is that it's only a 16 team league and it's better to be 16th than 20th or 24th or some other nosebleed position.

That will be handy in the event I drop Billy Wagner.

FYI, I drafted Kyle Gibson in the prospect draft (57th pick) and just noticed that Bazingas has the real Kyle Gibson on his roster while I have the filler Gibson from the draft.

Yep.

Everyone please check your N/A players to see if they are now in the CBS database, so that we can limit the amount of future ](*,)
