For the first time since (I believe) February, the Greatest Game Ever Pitched will be replayed on MLB Network on Sunday at 5pm Central time. Watch from a half-full Wrigley Field on a drizzly, overcast day as a rookie punches his ticket to baseball immortality by dominating the Houston Astros like no pitcher has ever dominated before.

Already set the DVR. Not only is it the single greatest pitching performance of all time, but it may be the single greatest showcase of any single pitch ever. That being Kerry's slider/curve that he had working that day, still to this day the filthiest pitch I have ever seen.

Couple of MLBTV Cubs related programs ahead.

Tomorrow (12/2) at 2pm CST, they will be replaying the 1990 All Star Game at Wrigley Field. The game was one of the most boring ASGs of all time with the AL winning 2-0 and the NL being held to just 2 hits (1 by Sandberg I think), but still fun to see Wrigley in a ASG setting.

Also, this Sunday from 1-5 PM CST they are replaying the famous 1984 Sandberg game against the Cardinals. So enjoy.

On a semi-related note, I am half watching the 1988 ASG from Cincinnati right now, and I had absolutely no clue Palmeiro ever made an All Star game with the Cubs, but here he is PHing and walking during the game. Weird seeing Palmeiro in a Cubs uni.

they showed damn near every ASG from the 70's up to last year's ASG all Thanksgiving weekend. They had the Wrigley one on Saturday I think. It kind of annoyed me because I wanted some analysis and debate and discussion shows, even if they would've been pointless (and not well debated for that matter). I mean the all-star game is fun... but I don't want to watch old all star games for 96 straight hours

I let out a cheer when Andre Dawson beat out an infield hit. Then I changed the channel.
