1984 NL Eastern Divisional Championship Patch

For a Cubs game I went to a few weeks back, they were handing out the 1984 NL Eastern Divisional Championship patch. It's pretty neat, I think, but I don't know what to do with it. The only Cub jersey I have is the blue alternate Derrik Lee. I was thinking about plotting down the dough for the 1984 blue jersey and having the patch sowed on, but that jersey is price.

Any other legit ideas of what I can do with the patch?

yeah...

1) Plunk down the money on an authentic '84 sandberg jersey.

2) get the patch sewn on by an expert

3) buy tickets for spring training next season

4) hang out at the minor league complex each morning, corner sandberg and get him to sign the jersey.

5) frame it and either keep it forever or sell it at a profit, even given all the above expense.

Yeah.... I'm not quite sure anything else could ever top that idea Tim. The '84 Sandberg jersey is pretty sweet and I did see it two weeks ago at the Cubs store over at Woodfield Mall.

As for number five, there's no way I'd ever sell that.

the only "authentic" jersey from 1984 is produced by Mitchell and Ness and already comes with the division champ logo. the ones made by majestic that look similar dont have the proper logos

i dont see how the cubs store at woodfield can survive because their selection is terrible when compared to the places around wrigleyville.
