I don't really care either way, except I would've sat Masterson if I had thought of it, which really is my own fault for not being creative.

wow, that could not have gone much worse. my relievers finish off the week by parlaying a possible 15 point day into a -15 point day. pretty huge fucking swing. if those two fucks just do their job, i'm down a manageable 20 points or so going into next week with a real chance of taking this.

all in all, about 40 points from my seven starts (vazquez goes for 40 by himself), two double digit negative starts and only two double digit positive starts, and six points from my pen. nice waste of a 13 homer week.

always nice when a manager leaves your starter in to intentionally walk the last batter he faces and then that guy ends up scoring. nice 5 point kick in the balls.

shit...i can't even hit homeruns right...choo's hr cost danks a cg shutout!

we're pretty much tied with a one start advantage for kevin. fucking hamels killed me tonight...two outs nobody on in the 7th and he ends up giving up 3 runs.

i think i'm up by 2 or 3. i have three starts left to kevin's one. of course if i knew how to pick my starters, i'd be up by a gazillion...

the 9th inning of the sea/tex game last night may end up being the difference...2/3 ip, 3 er (-10.5) for aardsma translated to a save from francisco (8.5). that's almost a 20 point swing in the span of one inning.

I still think my team is toast. Too many guys took the week off, and I picked the wrong starts (freaking Masterson). I'm half tempted to start Masterson against the Red Sox tomorrow, because I don't even think Davis will be able to get the Cubs out.

this week alone i've got starts of 33.5, 27 and 19.5 on the bench...meanwhile starts of 2, -2, -6, in my lineup.

hamels out after three [expletive] innings. i am BEGGING you guys, take this last effing week out of the equation. i don't care if it means an unbalanced schedule or whatever, but you cannot make the most important fantasy week of the year the least important week of the year for 95% of teams. it's absurd.

you guys needed to draft more rockies and dodgers.

my LVP for this week would be cole hamels and his two starts totaling ZERO points. so glad i treated peavy for him and david wright, the vance law of his era.

If the championship round were cut to one week (as it is in another fantasy league I'm in) we could keep the balanced schedule and still not include the last week of the MLB season. I agree that it really messes things up; same with including week 17 of the NFL season in fantasy football. The leagues I'm in have gotten away from that.

who cares about a "balanced" schedule? i like the two week finale, but this week shouldn't be a part of it.

mccann, choo and rollins all sitting out today, the last day of the championship matchup. that's ONE THIRD of my offense.

oh, btw, do either of you have twins or tigers . . . technically Tuesday's game is part of the regular season but I vote it doesn't count.

I'd like to officially change my title to David Aardsma's #1 fan. :)

EDIT: And Pablo Sandoval puts it away with a 10th inning HR! Woo, go crazy!

I vote it doesn't count either, because potentially someone could pick up as many position players from the Tigers/Twins as were available just for the one day.

Adam had no business in the championship. I play in it, and I win. [expletive], I didn't even manage my team over the last 2 weeks (had well less than 7 starts a week) and would have won. Oh well, that's the breaks. Congrats Kevin. I was rooting for you the entire time. I do agree with Adam (first time ever) that we should make the regular season end a week earlier as not to screw the finals with garbage players playing.

I'm pretty sure I finished with more points, too.
