once again, the hand sanitizers assume their traditional spot in the championship game, but there's a new opponent this year.

all of the saber metrics' starts this week are against pittsburgh, washington, san diego and the des moines east jv. hopefully my bats can outslug the speedy, slappy bats of the saber metrics (lame team name, by the way).

I was wondering what you'd come up with, and you didn't disappoint. You never know, my team with Theriot, Figgins, Roberts, Bourn, and the rest of the speedy grit squad could end up looking a lot like the 2010 Cubs.

10-2 game, and somehow Cameron gets 12 points and Theriot gets 3.

And why the hell did Davis get skipped?

yeah, i'm feeling real good about my chances if cameron's going to put up a 20 point week.

Good luck to both teams. I'm glad to see your first season was a successful one, Kevin.

I hope some of my preseason advice helped you kick mine and everyone else's team's collective asses this season. I sure can't win for losing.

I'd like it noted for abuck and others that one of the keys to Kevin turning things around this season was trading the first overall pick to me in return for multiple players. Trading a first round pick for multiple players is not the idiotic move that adam would have people believe.

Yeah, I ended up flipping the #1 pick for the #11 pick, Jason Bay, and Jordan Zimmerman, and subsequently flipped Zimmerman to Don for Pablo Sandoval, Ross Detwiler and Austin Jackson. Considering the #1 pick was Beltran, who was out half the year, and Zimmerman ended the year getting TJ surgery, I lucked out pretty well.

2005 was my first year. You won in 2005 and 2006 (2005 was the year Tim was undefeated in the regular season). I believe from what I read that Tim won in 2004. I don't recall who won in 2007 (if you really want to know you could look it up on Roadkill).

Adam had won it every time since I joined, excluding Raisin's current title. And I think this is my 5th year now.

de la rosa's been the best [expletive] pitcher in the world in the second half, so naturally he falls apart in the championship against the worst hitting team in the majors.
