Let me just say that I worry about this game, given the health of our secondary and the way the GB offense has performed in the preseason (granted, it's preseason - but they're hot). While I feel pretty comfortable with a Bowman and Peanut combo at CB, neither has played much or at all in the preseason and Peanut might not even be available for the game. Hopefully, GB doesn't shred our secondary too bad and we can score enough points to win.

Vasher played better against the Broncos though, and they have some good receivers, though obviously not nearly the QB. As long as we can avoid getting burned by the big pass, I like our chances.

Pretty good looking QB's batting it out here if I do say myself...

I dislike Sunday Night games very much, and I hate having to wait until week 4 for the first Sunday 1:00 start (noon for you central folk).

But [expletive] am I ready for this season to start. Bears are 3.5 point dogs and the o/u is 44.5, I'd take the points and the over. Although in my mind I've chalked this up to a loss. A win here on the road against a division contender would be a huge start to the season.

I love Sunday Night games. NBC's presentation and their HD >*

Although it does suck not being able to wake up with a slight hangover, roll over, and turn the pre-game on.

Sounds like vegas has it as a pretty even matchup if you figure 3 points for HFA.

The broadcast is great. But nothing beats the all day feast of meats and beers and football on a Sunday. There's plenty of days when I can't even make it to halftime of the night game. And then there's work on Monday. If you can have a day of partying as big as what happens on most Sundays, but still get 8-9 hours of sleep that night, it's a win-win. But now I'm going to have to pace myself all day, probably not fully enjoy the football during the day, and maybe even do some work around the house.

Lil' blip in today's Sun Times says Bears are inquiring about Chris McAllister...

why can't bowman just stay healthy?

He is right now and hopefully he stays that way, but there's still Peanut's situation to worry about.

And Rod Hood didn't exactly impress.

He bounced off somebody so impressively, it looked like he was a pinball.
