I did an auction league with random people on ESPN last night, because I was bored and felt like doing an auction. the first person who was nominated was adrian peterson, and he went for $37.

it was adrian peterson on the bears.

HAHAHA! That is hilarious and I might employee that in my auction draft coming up.

The last time I remember two players with the same name playing the same position at the same time was when the other Ricky Williams was playing for the Colts. Before that, in the late 60s/early 70s there were two wide receivers named Gene Washington playing at the same time. These things can cause confusion if one doesn't pay careful attention.

I've done quite a few ESPN auctions, and in about one in four, someone nominates the Bears' AP. In most, someone will bid on him, but sometimes he goes for $1.

It works with Steve Smith, sometimes, too.

I did four or five ESPN fantasy baseball auctions this year, and I always nominated Ryan Braun (White Sox) first, and he always went for $30+.

yeah someone did that and he went for $8. more than he should've gone for but not nearly as bad as the $37 paid for the wrong AP.
